What deal sites do you use and what have you found interesting?

I sometimes go to Red Flag Deals' Hot Deals forum http://forums.redflagdeals.com/hot-deals-f9/ and end up buying shit I didn't need. But sometimes I find something I was going to get an it is a good deal.

I also like Secret Flying http://www.secretflying.com/canada-deals/ . A few times I have just taken a trip somewhere I wouldn't have otherwise come because the deal was a good excuse to go an adventure I would otherwise not have thought of.

Same with YYZ Deals http://www.yyzdeals.com

Sometimes Groupon has some interesting offers for places I might not have know of too.

What are some other deal sites other TERBites like? (NOT backpages either! )

Travelzoo.ca posts the top 20 deals every Wednesday. Everything from local hotels, Niagara, to international travel. I've found a few good deals there, especially Niagara area.

RFD is the only one I use. Excellent site with lots of input from users. The forums are great and posters stick to the topic. If people get off-topic they often get called out. So you won't see a thread about a hot Nikon camera and people suddenly bickering about Nikon vs. Canon, or how good the Leafs are doing.

As for groceries, I just skim the main store's flyers near my home and hope one of them has what I want on sale. I'm not going to drive out of my way to save $1-2.

As for other deals, I always check Amazon and Walmart.

I'll also do a Google check...... "Item XXXX Canada sale promo coupon"..... filter time tab to Last 24 hrs, Last Week, Last Month. And see if anything pops up. Sometimes you'll get a direct link, sometimes a shopbot link etc.... That's how I found a dehumidifier I was looking for at the best price..... which turned out to be Lowes. Never thought of Lowes at the time.
