From 8 PM till 10 PM tonight , will air
D-Day to Victory:Breakout of Normandy, Battle for the Scheldt and Arnhem

I caught the D-Day to Victory : D-Day and The Battle for Caen yesterday and they were quite enjoyable.

The episode on The Battle for Caen was very eye opening when one of the veterans
described how 600 Canadians were killed by Allied bombing because of being in similiar
terrain as the Germans that the planes were targeting!

Ditto The Battle for Caen. So far so good for the series, the veterans' first person accounts add so much more dimension to the events ... I actually prefer this relatively minimal format than Storming Juno ( not that SJ was any less )

Tonight's schedule:

from 6PM till 10PM, D-Day to Victory continues with:

- Breakout of Normandy
- Battle for the Scheldt and Arnhem
- Battle of the Bulge
- Victory in Berlin

followed by, Storming Juno at 10PM. Then they will replay most of them right after.
