I am watching this program on the "TLC" with David Blaine....its called "David Blaine ..Street Magic".

He is doing some mind games that are blowing me away.....is this guy for real?

Whats the story about this guy?

He is great at slight of hand. Some of his tricks however, are inexspensive ones that can be bought at any magic store. Try Morrissey Magic on Dufferin.

To me, the point behind stage/street magic is not whether or not the magician can "actually" levitate, be cut in half etc. The point is how well they can perform the illusion and amaze the crowd. David Blaine himself has stated that the reason he does magic is to amaze people so that, just for a moment, their minds can stop.

I enjoy his work very much.

How about Chris Angel mind freak , he's on A & E every wed at 10..00
check him out. He lay in a box that went through a wood chipper and came out inside the truck. Really amazing .

Cris Angel is got to be the only person to defy all logic!! He is more than amazing.. I would love to find on the net how he does his tricks...but that could never happen...he is just too good!

I think David Blaine is TOTALLY awesome!! I'm mesmerized by all his tricks. I love watching David Copperfield too. Can't understand how they do all that stuff. I once met a magician when I was at the airport waiting for the plane. He was REALLY good. Pissed me off though that he wouldn't teach me any of his tricks but he did keep me entertained. Hmmm... maybe I'll find myself a magician next... I need a man who'll keep me intrigued...
