Iconic Canadian comedian , Dave Broadfoot has died at age of 90, RIP, he was best known for his tenure on "Air Farce".

I had dinner with him in the mid 80's, I still remember it.

It was at a sushi bar near Rosedale and Bloor. At that time most sushi places had karaoke bars in the basement and ash trays on the counter. Very interesting person to talk with great conversationalist, I've never forgotten it.

He could have moved to California but he chose to stay in Toronto. Very influential to our culture, without him there would be no Air Farce or SCTV.
