Can you tell the dating Apps you only want to date women/men from a certain city only?

for example if Jane lives in Hamilton and wants to date men from Waterloo. Can she request this?

How about income? can you say must make more than 150k/ year.

POF gives you an income filter… yes. Not everyone fills in their income though. Many Apps do not require that level of detail.

you can set your home city as anywhere in the world…. And set a distance from it.

Some Apps work by distance from your phone. If you go fishing up North, you will the locals in your feed up North.

Not every app is the same. If there are not enough people for your search criteria… some apps will show people outside of your criteria, and others just display “no more matches”.

In my opinion, that apps are not designed to help you find a date. They are designed to keep people on the app…. That’s how they make money.
