I couldnt believe what I saw last night, Rex Grossman goes down again with a broken ankle and is out for 3 to 4 months. I thought if he could stay heathy DA BEARS would have had a shot at the playoffs. Its now Chad Hutchinsons chance to bring DA BEARS back to glory.

I recall that but in my humble opinion I think that you were gonna be wrong on that one. Theres no need to be sorry . I think DA BEARS will still have a good year if the defense can stay heathy.healer677 said:

I realize it's only been against other scrubs but I think you will see Kyle Orton get a start by week #3 since Hutchinson is brutal. That will also be the end of Grossman's Bears career.
Just one play changed Orton's career from top ten pick to late rounder. He's still got that 1st round talent IMO. Would have rather seen KO in the Honolulu Blue and Silver than that Orlovsky idiot.

Dallas got rid of him for a reason. He did OK, but he has limited NFL experience and I think he's more suited to be a backup QB.mrpolarbear said:

I think Vincenzo nailed it on the head, there are some QBs who just look awesome in a back-up role, but when they are given the keys to the car full time, they can't handle it. As a Bears fan, Mrpolarbear, I'm sure you'll remember a classic example in Mike Tomczak. I think he was 18-4 or some ridiculous record in place of Jim McMahon, but when Mac was dealt to San Diego and Tomczak was the number one guy, he just couldn't do it.VincenzoTurismo said:

Well, you were right iluvbtca. Orton's gonna get killed. It's a shame though - playoff caliber defense, shitbag offense. Now, if we could nab KC's offense with the Bears defense...hmmmm.....

Good call. Hutchinson will be off the roster by wensday. I dont believe Orton will get killed the have improved the o line alot. Bensons in camp now so lets get the season started.iluvbtca said:
