ye - all jokes aside - post up your diary. I'm particularly interested in the pain aspect of the whole procedure. If it wasn't for the pain, it would be a walk in the park just chilling and waiting a year. Maybe one day i'll do it too. If the pain is unbearable, then forget it.

Read on the site makemetaller of the diaries. Make sure to only read the ones were they used the internal method. Most important is the actual surgeon doing the proceedure. Do not go cheap. There is a diary of some moron that went to Iran of all places!!!! Lots of stiffness for a few months. Lots of excersise. People do use muscle relaxers & pain killers but I see most do just fine. At the end of lengthening: apox. 8 weeks depending on amount of lengthening, people go back to work. The internal rod is weight supportive while the bone fully forms.
