Curious , why do ladies here seem to change there names so often ?

Being new but having spent a fair amt of time reading this board and talking with others in chat I got to wondering why does it seem like so many of the ladies feel a need to change there name ?

I would think if they have a good reputation and clientele having the same name for as long as they are in the biz would be an asset no ? Also if its a matter of privacy and then you read " formally known as so and so " how private is that ? Just curious about this !!

I was told it cause when they switch agencies another lady might have a similar name and the clients may book the wrong lady.

Relative to hundreds of ladies in this business, I don't think a lot of women change their name. A few do for reasons mentioned above, typically for security, safety reasons or to avoid causing confusion with another lady at the agency they just joined, but the vast majority don't change their names. I agree, if you spent a lot of time building up your brand and you're good, don't change your name.

I changed my name once in many years. Sometimes we are forced to change our names to that someone we are/were involved with will not be able to do a search on our old names and find us. I did it also because I did not believe he would go searching every single web page of others to see if I would be in the pics either. I sort of worry for girls for this reason when I see posts like didn't she used to be....???

I think Mr. Big said that he met the same escort under 3 different names working for 3 different agencies except he didn't know when he booked that it was the same person using 3 different names. Maybe it is some kind of ruse to get more business from unsuspecting clients .

Security/Privacy, re-marketing, other girls have the same name. Going from agency to being indie.

Quite a few girls with bad reviews change their names, hoping to fool potential clients. I've fallen for that trick myself.
