Are you travelling alone?
What kind of entertainment are you looking for?
The second question may depend on the answer to the first question.

I’ll be travelling with SO so to playing time.
I was referring to live entertainment at the resort.
Right now it’s $1000 for Cayo coco, everywhere else is almost double that.

Oh Cuba...food is so shitty, but then there is this
I've been to Cuba so many times I've lost count.

The very first time on the very first night I went to the Dining Room in the hotel to get my all-inclusive dinner.

It was so awful that I couldn't finish it. Lesson learned. Watered down and flavor compromised for lowest common denominator international tourists.

So I went to the bartender by the pool and asked him where he would eat if he had all the $$$ he needed. He asked me to wait a little under an hour until he got off. He took me to a 'paladar' (private home restaurant) with a sea-terrace-view where I had a Paella I still dream about. We also had BBQ pork, Lobster and Churrasco style chicken. Lots of fruits and salads. They had several bottles of Rioja, all the beer and rum you could wish for. At the end of it all, it cost about $60 CDN and this is with me inviting Eduardo, the bartender. I asked our hostess/chef what else was on the menu and she just said: "Anything you want, guapo. Eat here or the other 'paladars' but not at the hotel, por favor."

The Paladar network in Cuba is exquisite, extensive, varied and as easy to find as real Rum & Cigars. By North American standards, it's amazingly inexpensive. The prices have of course increased since my first visit but compared to what we would pay for these sort of meals in North America or Europe, there is no contest.

If anyone has a bad meal in Cuba, they only have themselves to blame.

Cuba is great. Escorts are beautiful, inexpensive and plentiful in Havana. The people are wonderful, especially when you speak decent Spanish.
