how is it cruel...I know they clean them selves but cats need a real bathing too. I think its great product and a harmless (for both kitty and owner) alternative to bathing them...

Great invention as cats that don't clean themselves properly and that still have claws are absolutely horrible to try and bath. It does look rather mean, but those would've been you arms taking the brunt of that jumping around not the machine.

oh if hes not de-clawed you couldnt bathe him...he'd cut you to ribbons.


now the only problem is getting the cat back in there for subsequent baths....he'll never forget that ordeal

If you liked the video, you'll LOVE this story. It's a text file, and it's medium long but it is hilarious and well worth the read. I first received this forwarded to me via fax way back in the pre-internet days, but re-reading it today it is still just as funny ... and although it is written as a joke, it has so much truth in it!

I have cats, and occassionally they do have to be bathed. If you had a cat, you know just how funny that vid is. Anyone that would go to that lenght and expense just to invent a machine so they will not get sliced, obviously knows what it is like to try to put the cat in a tub.

well that may be a little extreme...ferrets are worse...they stink more (even after being de-scented) and have a wild streak in that they bite... HARD...

I've had cats all my life and had to give them many baths. Don't see the humour in terrifying an animal sorry.

Tell you what, next time you want a shower, head over to your local firehall and ask the boys to turn the hoses on you. Be sure to tell them to ignore your screams of protest, cause it's "…a harmless alternative to bathing."

Or walk yourself through a carwash; they're great products too.

You want your cat clean to your standards you should be man enough to clean her yourself. I've done it, if she/he trusts you, you'll make it. If you consider that torture tank—was kitty having fun?— a good thing, you shouldn't consider having pets.

I have three cats. And I have bathed them in tubs. Why should it be any easier for you than the cat? As far as he's concerned he's clean already.

There is nothing funny about terrifying another creature—except maybe your little brother, if he later gets the joke—for your selfish purposes, or convenience.
