Credit card debt

So it turns out our friend is now in debt and we're trying to figure out how to consolidate everything and get things going here.

I'm posting simply to find out if anyone here knows of any current offers for low interest credit card transfesr or line of credit, etc, etc...
I'll do some digging myself but I thought I'd ask here to get some ideas or suggestions.

Agree. or re mortgage.

Been there done the CC thing. The low transfer things are good if you know for sure you can pay them off fast. most expire and then have higher rates than usual.

One tip: DO NOT consolidate the debt until the root problem is addressed, i.e. whatever it was that got your friend into credit card debt in the first place.

If the cash flow problem is not addressed FIRST, debt consolidation may only delay the reckoning, not avert it.
