The vaccine is bringing out the worst in some people down here. This from the NY Slimes:

Washington - As soon as the city began offering Covid vaccines to residents 65 and older, George Jones, whose nonprofit agency runs a medical clinic, noticed something striking.
"Suddenly our clinic was full of white people" said Jones, the head of Bread for the city, which provides for services to the poor.
"We'd never had that before. We serve people who are disproportionately African American."
I wonder if any of them put on blackface. I'm sure they at least left the MAGA hats at home...

In Quebec, the authorities are not following proper schedules. If you don’t follow the schedules, the vaccine won’t work very well. That means Quebec has created an experimental population of half-vaccinated individuals who can support viral evolution. The ever-acerbic public health expert Amir Attaran calls this negligence what it is. “If an evil scientist were devising a strategy to help the virus evolve and evade existing vaccines, he would do exactly what Quebec is doing.”
