i,m glad somebody brought up this bitches name. How dare she slams the music of Bruce Springsteen! Yes she is entitled to her opinion but to suggest the saxaphone doesnt belong in rock and roll music is ludacris,,no not the rapper lol. I guess shes never heard of Bobby Keys?,,Ok courtney heres a hint, Clapton, Skynnard,,,and aa a little band named the rolling stones..Hmm,,,I guess Foreigner never had a hit called Urgent without a sax solo either eh Courtney?..Hmm could swear I heard a little sax in pink floyd as well. Ahh courtney, courtney courtney,,,,I,m no fan of your trash either, so my advice is to climb back into your " hole" haha,,and keep your comments shut before u know what you,re talking about. I,m surprised Howard Stern hasnt taken a shot at her by now either.
junior walker did the original. I,ve seen these guys live and its an amazing kickass show. The sax solo is def one of the hilights of the night!
To be clear, she posted to a web forum, not unlike you posting here. She is an active forum poster and doesn't claim to be any more authoritative or special then anyone else posting. She is on another forum I frequent and participates like everybody else.
I would take her comments in that spirit. She certainly didn't call a press release or anything, some media outlet dug up and reprinted her comment.
I should have added... Even if the Junior Walker sax solo was edited together from multiple takes, it's still one of the best. He actually played some live shows with Foreigner and nailed the edited studio version note for note. They said it blew them away.
