Such a classic and timeless album. The lyrics are haunting, even today.

Most of the ideas for Dark Side of the Moon came from their time in Pompeii. The food, the weed and the sunshine agreed with them. Almost all the albums before Dark were experimental.

David Gilmour returned there in 2016 when the Amphitheater restoration was complete. I'm not sure if Dark Side of the Moon refers to Mt Vesuvius?
