Never, ever ever ever open an email with a pron attachment. NEVER!
Not even from a trusted source. Not even if it's been cleared by a antivirus.
NEVER!!

I've been burned too many times with those. No matter who it comes from, little hijackers might be hanging on.

Seriously what do people get out of making viruses other than the fact it gives them pleasure in making others suffer? What sort of people are making these sorts of things all the time? Is it people who sell pc's or people in business to repair broken down pc's? I just do not understand why there seems to be so much more of this type of thing all the time and why they even bother to do it.

It is a game. To see how many computers you can infect. Come up with the better delivery system. Beat the AV giants. It is a challange. Same thrill the hackers get from accessing a secure site.

I beleive its the antivirus companies , if there is demand for the product meaning if there are many many viruses, people will buy antivirus services

One of the reasons you can get a virus from an html link in an e-mail is that the .com domain is also the file extension for a DoS based program.
