Quick question... I'm heading to Costa Rica this month for a 3-day whitewater rafting trip. No, I'm not asking for tips on how to pick up local women... LOL!

Can anyone recommend any restaurants or nightclubs either in San Jose or down on the beach in Quepos by Manuel Antonia?

Secondly, can anyone recommend any reputable (non-sex trade) restaurants or nightclubs that are popular with English speaking westerners?

Was there 2 years ago, great country...mountains, rainforest, diving and active volcanoes...trez cool .
Been dry season for awhile so your rafting should be beautiful and not too reckless.
Local food was best and breakfast was really nice..great coffee, eggs, beans...load on the hot sauce. Will have to check my trip notes, photos, etc to remember best places in San Jose and Quepos.
Will get back ASAP..recomend try to learn a little spanish if you know none.
