Went down to Costa Rica on business. Was a bit disappointed with the numerous poor websites. (nothing to compare with TERB).
Finally realized there was a spot (d'pelufo) just the proverbial stones throw away from my airport area hotel.

Short walk but terrible non existent sidewalks.
Club opens at 9, but is pretty slow up to at least 10:30. Don't think the stage show started until 9:30 or 10. I usually don't drink and I don't usually stay out this late (prefer to be heading home at 9, not starting out) Was pretty busy when I left around twelve thirty. You get patted down at front door, get a wrist strap for ID, can't imagine why. Pretty rickety place, perhaps on par with the Canonball in Brampton. Perhaps not bad given the economic level of the area.
Saw three stage show girls. They all looked okay. The show and crowd seems more lively than a typical T.O. strip these days. The third dancer was DALESKA.
Manger/pimp is very obliging, I got a table which everyone else was denied.
What's it cost:
10 USD = gets you in with two beers
160 USD = private dance room 1 hour
260 USD = sex room for 1 hour; 100 for the lady 160 for the house. Not a very good deal for the lady, I imagine they would be happy to give you their phone. Next trip I'd skip the club and just call her up.
There aren't many rooms, so grab one early. (ie 4 rooms, booked for a hour, so you might be waiting a while). Room wasn't super clean, but wasn't horrible either, again imagine the Canonball or MDS.
Got dinged for drinks for the lady, the old strip joint over-priced drink routine 16000 CR for 2 drinks, think it works out to 32 USD.
Nobody's english is that great, so the financial arrangements are a bit tough to manage.
DALESKA: dark straight hair; blue eyes; had a sexy ring-belt; curvy cheekbones ( I love cheekbones); she said didn't speak english, but she actually managed English pretty well. She really tried hard to connect.
Petite, well dressed, well groomed, polite and friendly.

I would definitely repeat. Rather sorry I met her last nite of trip instead of first nite of trip.
So sex tourism anyone? Really I figure Toronto-the-good is about the same price, with more choice, and better web browsing. (so CR seems a bit over-priced in that regard, given the local economic level). The legal situation of SPs seems about the same, quasi sorta legal deal.
