Just wanted to say hi to all my fellow hobbiers who are freezing their dic** off up there in the frozen North.

Everything is nice and toasty down here in San Jose CR including all the little chicas (girls).

If you've never made this trip, add it to your list of things to do in life at least once!

A friend of mine went down to Costa Rica with one of his co-workers about 11 years ago. He said they went to a few nightclubs and the girls were all over them. They made some "arrangements" and the girls got a cab to take everyone back to their place. According to my friend's account, it was in the middle of nowhere, and when the cab driver let them out, instead of driving away, he parked across the street and turned the car off and just sat there.

They were led into the garage portion of the house and were instructed to wait there while the girls went inside. A few minutes later, my friend could hear the girls talking to a bunch of men inside. Needless to say, they figured out it was probably a set up for a robbery and hightailed it out of there!

Be wary of scams.

I was in Costa Rica back in 1999 and had my backpack (which had my camera, passport, contact lenses, and some money in it) lifted from my chair as I sat at an outdoor cafe. Beware of thieves and pickpockets! One will distract you while another makes off with your stuff.

On the sp side, I did not find Costa Rica to be the pussy bonanza that I had been led to believe. Oh, there is plenty of good inexpensive action to be had, but I found I had to work a little bit to find good looking ones. When all is said and done, I'm glad I went and experienced it, but I'm not sure I'd rush down there again.
