ya see a nice pic on a website and ya wanna save it to your hard drive, but it has copyright protection, is there a way to over ride that?

Does a screen capture. Crop the picture then save it in any format you life to wherever you like.

Try this:

1) Display the picture on your screen.
2) Hit your Print Screen button
3) Open up Windows Paint
4) Make a New picture and hit Paste (Ctrl-V)
5) Use the crop tool to pick the part of the screen you want and hit Cut (Ctrl-X)
6) Make a New picture, saying No to if you want to save the original screen capture
7) Paste again and Save As. Voila!

I don't know what you mean by copyright protection. If you mean that when you right click on the photo it brings up some kind of popup that denies you, that's just javascript. Just go to the options of whatever browser you are using, disable javascript, and reload the page. Then just right click and hit save as.
