I got some pakages of rice. There's no instructions on them.
How the fuck do you cook it? Just put in water and boil??
Help please, I'm hungry!

Boil the water, then add the rice with butter and some salt, you do not need a lot of water it will come out shaggy boil the rice in the water for about 10 minutes.

Usually two parts water to one part rice is a good rule...and butter (or margarine) will make it taste better than if you use oil.

2 parts rice to 1 part water... a little salt... a little butter. Bring to a boil... turn heat to low... cover and in 20-25 minutes perfect rice.

Of course if it's cheap minute rice... all this info is useless.

EWWWWW....you guys put butter and salt??? I'm assuming your only making plain old boiled (or steam rice as we chinese call it) rice. If you are making a pilaf or some kind of rissotto, putting butter and salt would be ok. You white folks are a strange bunch.

When I cook rice... it is usually 1 cup rice & 2 cups water & throw it all in the rice cooker.. 20 minutes later.. perfect rice.

Although brown rice usually needs a little more water.
