Which program is best for converting .mov files to .avi (divx) or mpeg4 (dvd)?
More generally, FFmpeg supports all sorts of video conversions. For example:
ffmpeg -i input.mov output.mp4
ffmpeg -i input.mov -vcodec msmpeg4v2 -acodec mp3 output.avi
