his story seems plausible lots of video to prove or disprove him

I hope if hes cleared they don't nail him just for uniform code IE the hat

As plausible as the Insurrectionist-in-Chief claiming that he incited the insurrection to expose the insurrectionists.

Or the arsonist claiming he torched the building to expose building fire code violations.

If enough of his colleagues vouch for him then he's in the clear.

I would assume if he did it to enjoy the moment of unity with the mob there should be a video proving his happiness and all. If he does not display that type of behaviour, and actually helps someone , that helps his case.
I'd also want to know where he got the hat from in the first place, and at which point he took it off.
