They said to catch the all time record holder Kobe has to keep up his current pace of 25 ppg for another 330 games so a bit over 4 seasons...... that's going to be tough. But I suppose if he can stay healthy no reason why he can't get there at a slower pace.

At what point does Kobe start to look at moving to contenders and being the second or third option?

Watching him against the thunder he definitely was using his skills to create jumpshots..... not much slashing or driving.

Yea that's usually what the veteran ex-champions do like MJ. Towards the downslope of the career use fundamentals like fade aways, jump shots, post up moves to score points. Conserve energy and use the body to shield the ball. This should by him about 3 more years in the league.

I don't think he'll be able to catch the all time record holder. I think his numbers will subside and then he'll retire before he gets close to the record. But then again who knows.

Was on the road during the Shogun fight. Can anyone update me on how he did and which Shogun showed up? Vicious Shogun or slow/sluggish lazy Shogun?
