I have a question which im sure some other men out there would also like answerd.

Ive been sexually active for a few years now with my gf and till about 2 years ago I was using condoms off and on. If I didnt use one, id pull out before ejaculation and so on..

Since she went on the pill 2 years ago, ive stopped using condoms all together.

Now, Ive had this happen in my last couple of sessions with SPs - I get soft AS SOON AS the SP puts a condom on and it takes a friggin long time to get back up. This is a total waste of my money - with no fault of the SP. I dont enjoy sex with a condom on and the latex smells doesnt help either. I know there is no way around this in respect to safety.

SO my question here is : Is there any way (hopefully drug-free) to get around this? Maybe a certain diet would help overcome this. Or is it totally in my mind? Maybe I need to keep having sex with a condom on in order to get back into the routine? Would a super-thin condom make a difference? I know there is a very special brand out there - dont know the name - thats like super-thin and odor free.

I love hobbying. Its a nice change once in a while. But I dont want to waste my money and the SPs time. I want to enjoy it.

Help!

I have the same problem quite often.

With me, as soon as the condom comes out, it's this sort of disease slap in the face. Like I'm a diseased fucker or she's a diseased slut, or whatever. Same thing happens if I think it's contrived (acting) on her part frankly.

Down she goes.

Out being curious
maybe if u let the girl know that condoms kinda give u a buzzkill they would wait a little longer when u get hard before pulling it out...

I've noticed some girls wait for the instance that ur hard and pull it out..but by the time u see that ur starting to get soft...yea ur hard but u just got hard and its easy to lose...so let them make u hard and keep u hard for a couple mins...then put on the condom

thats my experiences...hope it helps

Try alone, get a condom involved in your masturbation - you won't have the pressure of time or fear of going limp. Instead of protective from disease, see if you can think of it as kinky - a restraint to tie the beast.

Later if you get soft with a woman, leave the condom on and try moving on to daty or kissing - whatever else you enjoy. I think it's mostly mental for you, but thinner condoms can't hurt.

I totally agree with the other people in this thread. You need to masturbate with a condom on!

I posted a thread about LifeStyles SKYN condoms which are not made of latex. They are made of polyisoprene. They do not smell and are very thin and transfer heat very well.

They are a bit more expensive. Great for cbj.

Also KY sucks. It is a medial lubricant and gets gummy so fast. I hate KY. HATE HATE HATE it.

Try O'my... It's all natural. Made from hemp.

The problem is not with the condom, it is what is in your head. You have to change your mindset and learn that wearing a condom means hot sex.

Cialis

k im gonna try this KY thing out. i think ill also chug down a red-bull or something about 1/2 hr before the session to get the gears going. I know about Viagra but wtf is Cialis? Is that like a stimulant?
C is also a prescription drug. Differences from V-

Everyone reacts differently, check out the list of side effects
V may have an effect up to 24 hours, C up to 3 days
You need to work hard to o/d on V, BUT my MD warned do NOT take C more than twice a week.

Above applies to the original standard dose, C now comes in a daily mini-dose.

I think you were given some excellent advice in regards to applying the condom, using it when alone and trying to change your thought process to make it a more positive experience.
In regards to lubricant, I assume that most are talking about putting a little lube inside the condom which is a personal preference some men prefer the feel others do not, just be sure not to use more than a drop or two or it can make it loose and come off. If you are looking for a lubricant for your partner to use outside the condom I would leave that to the preference of the lady in question, what one person prefers on her body is not what another will use and getting a new lube each time could become expensive (and frustrating as not all brands are easy to find). As an example lmlm likes O'my however I will not use it due to it's glycerin content, my preference is Pink http://www.comeasyouare.com/default/index.cfm/shop/product/Pink-Water-Lubricant-3-3oz/ though I have a few alternatives depending on what it is to be used for (toys, male masturbation, partner play, etc.)

A condom that is too tight will kill an erection. Try a larger size.

I usually have a very high success rate in keeping the boners at attention by putting the condoms on with my mouth. This way, there's no stop in the action, the guy attached to the boner gets a good visual, and I assume a warm and wet mouth is a more pleasant sensation than dry fingers fumbling to get the thing in place.

If your partner/SP hasn't tried this trick yet, you could offer your boner for her to practice on. I myself used a dildo to practice, but a real cock would do as well. ;)

The thinner condoms absolutely make a difference. I hated condoms too but then I tried the thin kind (which I actually read about in a thread on terb) and now I don't have a problem with them. Get the Durex ultrathins (they have an even thinner one which is way more expensive but I find the ultrathins fine) or someone recently mentioned a Sheik skyn or something. The break in action can also be a factor (when you're putting it on) so be sure to put it on only when you're really hot and heavy. The next time you're at your doctor ask for a free cialis sample - if you've never tried it, you're in for a treat.

Good point! I like O'my because of the taste. It doesn't taste or smell like chemicals at all, it has a slightly sweet very benign taste. I am fine with glycerin as I never get yeast or urinary tract infections (KNOCK ON WOOD!) I wonder - do you think it makes a difference if it's vegetable glycerin? Also: how does pink taste and smell? I wonder if they have sample packs of it at Come As You Are...

This is pretty straight forward:

http://www.uofaweb.ualberta.ca/healthinfo/pdfs/Lubes.pdf

Come As You Are, Good For Her, and The Condom Shack, etc, all have sample size packets of various brands of lube... great for testing out / having on hand to please your ladyfriend or SP.

The problem is not with the condom, it is what is in your head. You have to change your mindset and learn that wearing a condom means hot sex.
Using the same logic, one should be able to screw sheep or the 80 year old widow down the street - it's only a mindset. Everyone has different sensitivities and while some of the younger teens come with the first touch, there are others whose sensitivities require a little more contact than the dulling of sensitivities with a layer of rubber.

I suggest the thinner condoms mentioned here or go free style looking for crack whores in some of projects - but I would think you like life too much. Another idea is to hunt some lonely wives for a safer experience. I'm guessing a lot of S.O.'s from some of the terb members here might be looking for some action.

Reading this post has brought me to another question, are SPs open to the gentleman bringing his own condom? Is it awkward to bring up?
I normally use crown....the last time I went to an SP, and I put my crown condom on the table, she carefully inspected it...and then said..nah, I prefer using her own

so it all depends on the SP and the majority will prefer using their own
