Condo Taxes in Mississauga?

I'm looking for a ballpark figure on condo taxes for a new unit at Square One in Mississauga.

The agent said approx 1.6%.

Does that sound about right?

Sounds a little high. Maybe 1.4?
But then , I'm trying to adjust Brampton rates.

That sounds about right, i sold my condo around sq1 last year. I'll see if I can dig up the paperwork...oh by the way stay away from Fernbrooks new project there.

Is it based off what you pay for the unit or what it's valued/appraised by the city at?

It's based on the MPAC assessed value.
