I agree and disagree.

I agree that all the money about to be spent on stimulas won't impact the underlying problem.

I disagree in that I think as Canada's largest customer suffers so will Canada.

I disagree with him.

Canada does well when commodity prices are high...and they're not likely to rise anytime soon given the state of most countries. I think he's being a little bit hasty when he states that our real estate market isn't frothy...affordability is still not what it should be in most major cities, and it's usually during recessions that housing gets knocked down to more reasonable valuations. I think there are going to be further declines, and that will affect our banks.
