When I do a google search at home, as soon as I start typing in something a pop up comes up based on the letters I've typed and what has been searched for before. How do I get rid of that?

google webpage... I do know how to clear my "history"... this I can't figure out how to clear. Even after doing a "Disk Cleanup", deleting temp files, cookies, history it still happens.

Under the 'internet options' in 'tools' select the 'content' tab, there is a 'autocomplete' button, select that and you can adjust your settings and clear any previous stored data.

This is assuming its IE.

TravellingGuy is right, you can set it so that it doesn't do any remembering by turning off the autocomplete off. I don't recall for sure, it might be under advance settings somewhere else, but that is why the problem you are having is occuring.

Try what TravellingGuy says first.

To clear your "history":

- right click the taskbar (Windows thingee where the Start button is)
- Properties > Start Menu Programs > Documents menu hit the clear button

That should do it.
