Yep, the on again, off again part-timers don't want to lay down cash for advertising. Something has to be done.I think we need to pull together an advertising fund for ladies to use when coming north. For whatever reason they don't seem willing to pay for a backpage ad and duttlist is just plain slow.
I am still betting that there will be an abundance of ladies starting in May.
Indeed. Which is why I find the idea so funny. Maybe they did approve and plan to let it go up as fast as the new Bank of Montreal they tore down Admerial Public School for. Sooooo we should expect to see it in about 10 years?? if it is only one floor and not within two blocks of a church. The councils have lost the town tons of cash by enforcing business facade bylaws, building height restrictions etc.

yes the last stripbar was the Georgian, a true definition of trailer park trash run by local hillbillies and frequented often by local migrant workers, local alcoholics, a breeding ground for old west style fist fighting on a Saturday nite. Collingwood needs Toronto ownership someone who appreciates the class of a gentlemans club,,,I dont mind paying a premium for quality women and entertainment,,,Alas I think its only a dream, unless John Sit would like to further his horizons,,then again some of his clubs need upgrades,,,lolUnfortunately the last strip club in Collindwood wasn't the best example of Enterprise. Techniqually they can say they have tried already. Not sure if you remember but it brought a lot of "low income" into the downtown area, including drugs and weapons charges. If you ask me - a small town is not the best place for an establishment like that to florish. The selection of ladies applying (think downtown young single moms) does not bring in the overhead it takes to run the place unless the person running it has a very good start and an already established reputation. Otherwise it turns into a gathering place for people doing shady business. Hard to have a velvet rope policy when you have less than 15 customers a night. I actually think that something just outside of town might work better. Out on the Highway but not too far from the Mountain. Might bring in some of the ski people. Younger boys, timeshare holders, marine people who just don't want to make the trip into a quite town to finish off the night.
