To pull a Trump - lie about everything, slander every one, do anything to deflect and delay any lawsuits and claim there is a conspiracy against oneself and of course never pay taxes.

To pull a George Santos - lie about one’s family and heritage, education, employment history and then call it an embellishment.

To pull a Republican - when one loses ask for a recount and not pay for the recount, call oneself the duly elected winner.

Anyone using these phrases will be required to pay into my hobbying fund.

How about 'Pull My Finger!' Means 'to pull my finger in a gesture of sincere friendship, admiration and respect.'

Really.... G'head, pull it..... Pull my finger...... We're friends right? ... So, go for it, pull my finger...

C'mon, really!? .... Nothing bad's gonna happen. It's just a friendly tug between two good buddies.....Just do it..... Pull my finger.....;)

To "Pull a hamermill": trying to coin a phrase (or phrases) that likely has already been coined by thousands before him.....

While we are on semantics: Limit the term "mate" to an individual with whom you have sex for the purposes of procreation. Applies equally to any species...
Unless the person using "mate" happens to have an Australian background.
Also seems that most dictionaries now accept it as meaning buddy or friend.
