Yeeps! I would never be so bold as to claim to be "top level" (as if!) -- but that's not really the point. Like most SPs, I have my niche -- but I'm not sure that it's really about who's better than who. Probably way more expensive SPs than me have more free time (because they can charge way more and work way less). The point is that there's a big investment of time involved in "going for coffee" and it's doubtful that it would generate a satisfactory return on investment.
And too, it's about business vs. personal time. I know it would be tough enough on me to have to spend a lot of time running around having coffee with guys who may or may not want to take it any further -- but imagine how tough it would be on women who have children.
If every guy who asked us to go for coffee was a legit client, it *might* be worth the investment -- but I suspect that, for most, meeting for coffee is an end in itself. While most here are probably legit customers, please understand that all SPs deal with a lot of tirekickers and time wasters. Considering the potential risks to us, as well as the run-around, would you think it would be worth it?
