So there is of course the best good ole Classic Coke.
Several years ago they came out with Coke Zero, sugarless and very close to Classic. I switched for a while, about a year, then started going back and then went back to Classic.
Now Coke has come out with Coke Life in green cans and bottles. So far I like it. It is naturally sweetened with Stevia.

I put stevia in my oatmeal and yogurt but it's not something I like in my coffee, I would have to try it.

A few places sell old fashioned Coke with cane sugar instead of the usual high fructose corn syrup. I'd like to try the new one with stevia, that's what I use for a sweetener on my oatmeal.

Where can I buy this stevia. I still use sugar in oatmeal and on cereal. I have type 2 diabetes and want to eliminate sugar from my diet 100% and this is what I've been looking for.

I find Coke Life to be as brutally bad as Coke and Pepsi's previous attempts at calorie reduced drinks. JMO.

I buy it at the health food store, but they'll have it in pharmacies too. There is powder and liquid, they have in baggies like splenda too. I use the powder the jar came with a micro spoon and I just put a few milligrams in because its very powerful. But with the liquid you could just use a drop or two. Its hard to find cereal without sugar nowadays, I eat fiber one, shredded wheat and oatmeal or steel cut oats.

I read about it here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia . It says 150 times the sweetness of sugar so I already figured I would have to use low doses or it would be too sweet. Thanks for the info, it's much appreciated. Going to get some today if I can find it.

I get a small bottle of powder from Bulk Barn.
There's a long history of its use in Japan.

Try also Shredded Wheat Bite-Size Squares (not Shreddies). They have no sugar. I like Steel Cut Oats but Fiber One has additives.

I still like putting pure maple syrup to sweeten things like oatmeal or yogurt. They say it contains anti-oxidants.

Didn't know you could get it there so I will look next time. Picked up some at the grocery store this afternoon. Got the packets like splenda. Says 1 packet is the same as 2 teaspoons of sugar. Going to try it on my oatmeal in the morning.

I use it too and prefer it over other types of powdered sugar, but I still like maple syrup for certain things (like oatmeal). Like you, I'm Type 2 but I use the latter in moderation. Normally, no sugar in anything and no pop. I prefer plain Greek yogurt which has little or no sugar.

I try not to put anything that can eat rust, into my body lol.

I read a story that State Troopers south of the border use Coke to dissolve any blood stains on highways after a traffic accident. (sorry for the gross account)

When sitting outside Walmart, in my car, watching the average behemoth push their cart out the doors. Contents? Snack foods , Manhandler frozen dinners, and gallons of soda pop. The products fuelling the devolution of the gene pool. Soda pop is pure garbage

I was a big Coke and Pepsi drinker for years. I stopped drinking Coke after they hired a mercenary Army in Columbia at a Coke bottling plant to murder a couple of Union leaders that were trying to get a couple of bucks more per day for the employees. Just brought in some mercenaries and shot them. No $2.00 for you slaves ! So I never bought there product nor any other product since. Which is not easy to do.

And Sophie is right. Why put something into your body that can "eat rust ?

Thank-God we have a Government body to protect what gets into our food supply. Can you imagine what we would be eating and drinking without them ?

I used to drink Classic Coke all the time. I then gained a lot of weight, and when I dieted, I started drinking Diet Coke.

My observations:

Classic Coke is very good.

Diet Coke is horrendous, it has a weird chemical taste. No comparison between the original and diet. I'm surprised people drink that shit.

Coke Zero came out, and it's much better than Diet. I"m surprised Diet Coke is still around.

However, Pepsi Zero has become my drink of choice. It tastes better and is sweet.

Loblaws, Metro, most fine groceries. It's expensive though.
