Closing Thread: How young looking is too young looking?

For those that did not have the opportunity of seeing The Oracle's posted picture because of the quick hand of a moderator - it was clearly a mature woman with a young face and in now way looked like an under aged female. Removing the picture is the Mod's call but closing the thread left an impression Oracle was posting underage photos and was unfair IMHO. Minus the picture this thread has less reference to pedo's than a thread dedicated to the topic open now.

If you covered the face with your hand - it was easy to identify the age. Those that judge by face only are more apt to make serious errors.

Well I think just the fact that it might have been an underage girl is enough reason to delete the photo. Whether she really is or not we'll likely never know... But I agree just because a girl looks very young doesn't mean she is - when I was in my early twenties I looked about 16 or 17. Christ, I couldn't even buy a lottery ticket without getting carded until I was about 26.

But yes, it is a slippery slope... and one that should be observed very closely.

I think the legality of fictionalized work or depictions vary country to country. That being said, this forum is private property and I can't blame the administration for wanting to avoid this extremely volatile subject.

There is a 100 + page thread containing Asian photos with girls dressed as school girls that looked younger than this photo. The photo was nude and one glance at the body clearly indicated a mature female body. Agreed - tough call on the moderator

That's actually a really good thing Miss Croft. That means you actually take really good care of your skin. A lot of women these days neglect their skin and though they are around 25 or so, they look like they are in their late 30's.

Personally, I don't know why anyone bothers to post pictures of women that were found on the web on here. I think we are all capable of finding the picts we want to look at. I have no issue with the removal of any picture from this website, especially pictures that may increase the negative stereotypes that we have to deal with as individuals in this industry.

I'm a libertarian so I empathize with your point. However, this is private property, so while I may disagree with the line drawn in the sand, it is the administrator's right to do so. And yes, it is a very tough call.

Well I've always been religious with the sunscreen (and have never used a tanning bed - I think those make women age more rapidly) so I hope it keeps helping! But I think it was also because I was so tiny...I find young women who are very petite tend to look even younger.

The moderator might do it not just for morale issue... it is prob. more for legal purpose (i.e. cover their butt). You don't want to attract LE attention.

TERB does have a zero tolerance on underaged,that would extend to percieved to be underage.That way there's no fine line to cross. better to err on the side of caution. I stand behind this policy fully.

Never and I repeat never would I post a pic of somebody not of age.

My question simply was at what time does an of age girl trying to look like a young girl start to bother you.
