Clicking out of hotmail question.

My PC seems to be frozen every single time I close hotmail with this new "click done" thing you have to do. Is this a setting, or a deeper problem?

Any help or advice would be great. Thanks.

Had the same issue. I just reinstalled it and it works fine now...

I'm using the beta version, which comes with 2 GB storage and various other bells and whistles (including less spam). I'm liking it other than I find sometimes when you click on a link or to sign out, it won't work. But remember, it's beta.

The "pausing" or "freezing" is often a bi-product of the newest MSN Messenger, which Hotmail loads and closes, depending on the Hotmail function page. I disabled the call Hotmail makes for Messenger by editing the registry (rename the Hotmail Control keys by adding ".old". Now I have no pauses or freezes.

Messenger continues to work, as normal, and will still link to Hotmail, but Hotmail will not automatically load Messenger after the edit.
