CL Phone Number reviews????

I was shocked when I looked on CL this morning to find this:

All I can say is I am glad I am not on the list, but was curious to know what peoples view of this was. I equate this type of comprehensive list to be te same as a "hobbyist" posting a comprehensive list of addresses for women they have seen. It just seems very wrong and a dangerous precedent to set. I personally fully support when SP's have posted dangerous callers in past on forum, I want everyone safe, but to expose people's private life in this manner for me is unforgiveable. Unfortunately you do not know which SP posted that list, but it is sad to me to see it displayed in this fashion.

Remind me to always call from a blocked or private number (oh wait you can't with most providers BAH)

Anyhow, that is why it is a must to get a pay as you go cell phone that you are not registered to unlike on a cell phone plan when calling agencies or indies.

They see a phone number on their end but it is a phantom number so your privacy remains intact.

Agencies and indies don't do business with telephones registered to their name so don't you as the client do it either.

Interesting Info

THe ironic thing about the pay as you go phone number is that providers are trying use the "No blocked or Private Calls" as a safety mechanism, however as explained, the pay as you go method of cell phones cuircumvents it, hence why never really understood the concern about blocked or private numbers. I actually saved the listing as I flagged it myself and I am sure other did, but here is an example of what was in the ad (removed numbers for privacy)


XXX-XXX-XXXX Did not show up
XXX-XXX-XXXX Has Genital Warts
XXX-XXX-XXXX Was in wheel chair and smelled of pee
XXX-XXX-XXXX Is a member on TERB with screen name xxxxxxx, horrible reviewer and a real jerk

etc etc etc, so word to the wise, protect yourself as some providers are tracking numbers for more than just "safety". It is sad that the actions of a few make people have to reconsider privacy issues.

Just to add, since the webpage was still in cache also, here is a longer list of the reasons why people were listed. Over 40 numbers listed. Of the reasons, I see maybe 1 or maybe 2 that would warrant a public alert.

Second number to above client
Know as the {deleted} {TERB}, horrible reviewer, pain inthe ass, all around jerk....
undesirable client
undesirable client {drunk, time waster, books, shows, wonders around the apt, left wallter, goes to get, comes back, wants less time, less money.

insisted on needing ID from lady to move foward with appt. Lady was 30 and looked it.
wheelchair client, does not inform you before hand, pees himself, not clean.
time waster
Very rude, and a vulgar, demeaning to lady during appts.
