Is it me or is CITY TV News becoming more like OMNI 1 with all the South East Asian Reporters on weekends etc?. Im not trying to be disrespectful just an honest observation.

Nothing to do with the news but CityTV is such crap compared to what it used to be. You could always catch 1 or 2 movies if you were up late. Now nothing but Infomercials just like every other channel. Completely gone downhill

I remember getting caught watching one of those many moons ago LOL!!
I don't think they even show those anymore, I also got caught watching those cheesy Italian movies that always showed some T&A, I think it was on late Sat nights on channel 47 or now known as OMNI 1. Christ I'm showing my age :eek:

City News has become a commercial for their web site. After almost every piece, they say "For details on this, check our web site www.city.ca and click on web watch".

There are not many good looking people on that channel anymore. Ethnic or not.

I was actually gonna start a thread and bitch about that.....

CityTV used to be a great station....Played plenty of movies and lot of other entertaining programs like Ed the Sock....

As a kid I used to love the movies that they played because they barely cut or censored the movie and kept in swear words (even words like motherfucker)....

Now that Rogers has bought CityTV it totally has a corporate feel to it and doesn't feel like the local station that it used to be.....

Now they play a lot of Super Lame shows - a ton of reality shows, reruns of Friends, Judge Joe Brown, Kiss-Ass Entertainment shows, etc....

Might as well bring that douchebag Ben Mulroney and that Ladybody Tanya Kim into the CityTV fold....:mad:
