Just looking for some info on Chtr mobile... I know you can buy the phones at Loblaws, but do the come with a SIM card already installed? Also, does it work the same way as petrocan or Speakout? E.g. Anonymous, no registration and buying minutes with top up vouchers?

Chatr is a Rogers owned value brand - you can save some money by using any old Rogers phone locked or unlocked with Chatr, and just buy the SIM. Petro Canada and Speakout are private brands that purchase wholesale access on Rogers network.

Personally I use Chatr as my hobby phone, yes you can activate it online, buy vouchers or pay cash in store to top it up.

Any Rogers store will sell you a CHATR Mobile SIM card.

Thanks... If I was in the market for a Chtr phone anyway, (There’s a Loblaws around the corner from me) is there already a SIM card in it or will I have to buy that separately at a Rogers location?

The phone should come with one, but anywhere that sells Chatr phones will also stock SIMs

I know Loblaws sells those 3 in 1 sims or whatever they’re called... I think those only work with PC mobile. I didn’t see any specially for chtr, but like you said I can always go elsewhere.
