Christmas cards for the missus

Well, I went into one of the standard card shops this evening, trying to find a card for my wife. After looking at a few of them, I couldn't look any further. I don't know who actually believes any of the stuff in these cards. I have been married for a while, so I guess you could say the lovey-dovey romance is not quite there as before. But these cards are so full of soap you could bathe for days in one of them!

Does anybody know any good online resource that you can use to download/print a card, with maybe something you say yourself? Or, where could one go to get a decent Christmas card?

I wouldn't recommend downloading/printing a card unless you want a frosty Christmas. If you say something in your own words that would be good but don't just print out something from the internet.

Get a blank card with a suitable picture on the front and put your own words in it. That way you can put just the right amount of soap for your situation.

Not sure this is convenient for you, but there is an independent card and stationary shop at the southeast corner of Yonge and Pleasant St. , one both south of St. Clair.

I don't know where he gets his cards but they're unique and, IMHO, much more clever than the mainstream shops.

That's true. And I still love her. But I never did get into all those mushy cards, and they seem to get mushier each year. Hey, I even bought adult ones in the past ... hmmm, maybe I should try this again. But the problem is, she opens it and puts it on the table downstairs for all to see. Maybe she will keep that one in the bedroom.
