Both you and Happ better start praying because the polls say differently. Me, I'm starting to celebrate because I could smell the demise of The Reform Party!

Ask Chow about riding high in the polls.

An election campaign is a whole other animal. And he is going to have to face off in the debates. He is fine when he is scripted and speaking in generalities. But during the campaign he will come under real scrutiny. You can never tell what will pop up to create challenges.

Justin wants to sell drugs to children and he has ties to terrorist criminal organizations including the public sector unions in Ontario.

Ok happ. While I'm no fan of JT for PM this is a really dumb statement. Seriously. Try to keep it within the realms of reality.

Happ's accusation that public service unions are terrorists should park him fully in the deranged, angry right wing demographic.
Just hope he stays away from weapons, this kind of crazy we don't need.

Exactly. People can disagree on how much compensation they need, and whether some services can even be privatized, but this kind of tripe really just kills the conversation. As for JT he may be a light-weight relying on charisma and family legend for now, but his pacifism and lack of understanding of some elements of world affairs is not a support for those monsters.

I'd agree, if anything JT errs towards naive, not demonic.
Personally, I don't think he's a great leader or politician, but he's gotta be better for the country then Harper.

Right now I would have to disagree. My main concerns with JT are with foreign affairs and economic policy. Some of his foreign affaiirs gaffes at this point are apparent. Until is see more thoughtful responses on his part I wouldn't trust him as a representative of Canada to the world.

As to economic policy I've seen very little. Mostly because not much is known. If he plans a carbon tax of any sort then I would be in full attack mode. The same if he resurects a national daycare program.

He is riding high in the polls right now but that is more a function many policies still unclarified on his part. During a campaign he will have to define them. And explain and justify them. Whether he has the ability to do this remains to be seen.
