So, what does everyone think of the new G'N'R's album??
Loving it here!!! Didn't know if i did or not after the 1st listen, but the more i listen to it the more i like. I find that all of the songs stand-alone, switch from melody to verse to solo wildly, but it all works great!! Wish it was all the original members, but let's face it, Axl is the man!! Crazy as fuck, but a very unique voice, great writer, and original artist. Those that loved the Illusion CD's will find it a great continuation of songs in the "estranged" mold. Love it!!

Plus you have to get over all the negative publicity it's received over the years. When it came out 99% of the commentary was negative surrounding how long it took to be released. I guarantee 99% of the commentators hadn't even listened to the album.

I haven't listened to the album yet but I've heard some clips that sounded decent to good. So we'll see.

I'm already sick of the title track so I'm not going to buy the album. Listened to a few other songs and i dont like then. Looks like Axl has some good members for the band. Dizzy is the only returning members.

I've been following the development of this album since the earliest leaks. At first I was ready to shit all over Axl and his solo album being an old GNR fan. But you have to give credit where it's due. When I first started hearing music from this album I was pretty amazed at the level of talent Axl has as a musician. Even the rough demos would stick in my head for days. I really like the whole album and enjoy the work and multitude of layers Axl and company put into it. I can't wait for Parts II and III.

FYI Robin is back with NiN.

I listened to a couple tunes at HMV and it's a helluva lot better than most of the crap foisted upon us these days.
