Cheap Software

Does anyone buy these OEM cheap software offers? I've seen Solidworks Premium down from the regular $8400 to $299. A saving of $8101!

What's the catch? I'm reluctant to try it in case what they send you contains something harmful.

Please, if someone has actually bought these things, was it OK? Or did it contain viruses etc?

I would guess if you've bought one, and it turned out OK, at those prices you'll end up buying a whole library -- anyone done that?

I always get my software from torrent and try it before I buy. It seems I like to try for years and never buy though.. I am bad boy

It's usually the barebones package tht does next to nothing. You need to "upgrade" if you want the full version. And that will cost you even more.
