Was thinking what would this guy be looking to chat on the phone about ?!?!? Then remembered the TV ads from decades ago - THOSE chat lines LOL 
Oh man, my first foray into "online dating" circa 1998. My friend got me onto it and I spent about 2 weeks calling in and flirting with randos until the novelty wore off.
In fact I remember there was a feature where people could leave you a pm and you would hear a beep and press 6 or whatever to hear the pm.
One time I pressed the button expecting to hear a sweet girl's voice, but instead I heard a deep male voice say:
