What happened in Paris is an atrocity what is happening in Nigeria is a human tragedy of monstrous proportions.

Nigeria is a schizophrenic nation, the southwest is exploding economically. It now has the most robust economy in all of Africa, a model of economic entrepreneurship. Meanwhile the northeast is just plain exploding. While the world was focused on the capture of the Charlie Hebdo jihadists, Boko Haram razed an entire village killing over 2000+ people. And the Nigerian Armed Forces are so far powerless to stop them.

Boko Haram hates not only the Nigerian Government, they also hate the traditional (pre-colonial) authorities as well.
