Will there be a season this year?? Yeah I know many of you dont really care. IMO no There is too much red tape involved getting the US players here. The border doesnt seem to be opening anytime soon. Both Canada US each HAVE to get Covid under control .

It might not survive another no season as it is a gate driven league. I dont think the Feds will kick in any $$$ either.

I'm sure the owners are somewhat wealthy to absorb this. I'm guessing they aren't paying the players? Not sure if they are paying stadium rents etc? I doubt this is the permanent end to the CFL. However many players may have to move on to other occupations if they miss another season, never to return to football.

There's enough interest in the CFL to rekindle it in the future at some point imo. The CFL can't absorb no fans and still pay the players so this season may be difficult, unless they delay starting until August with the grey cup inside in bc in Dec, and maybe all playoff games inside there also.

I hope it survives, I really do.
I agree with wazup as far as paying players and stadium rent.
If the season is cancelled and returns in 2022 I hope it comes back better than ever.

I think the CFL is in many ways similar to the position of OHL hockey...getting players across the border to their teams...can they pay for the mass testing...can they play without fans...will they have bubbles...
