I'm going to start a skilled trades business and was wondering what the best packages are available, I rarely use one now and have always paid as I went, obviously that isn't an option now. :)

Include price and minutes per month if possible and any other perks you receive like free after a certain time etc.

Or any cell phone packages anybody is using.

The company where I work has a company plan with Rogers. It is even more messed up than just a personal phone. Their whole pitch is about getting you on a contract. Each person can have their own individual plan, with different levels, then depending on what commitment the company makes, there can be added bonuses, such as free calls between each other, etc. We don't know what to do, it is hard to figure out the best plan.

That's been my experience with various varieties of company plans and phones, and companies picking up my cell phone tabs. Nobody really knows.

When you come right down to the bottom line, the service costs whatever they charge. Simple and fair would be the more you use, the more you pay, and all the plans essentially boil down to some version of that. They just put in the 'free' minutes ande 'free' phones and 'free' people you can call to sucker us into calling, and paying more. And the fixed costs to make sure we're paying something predictable.

Anyone who actually costs this out will always come down to: How much all-in cost per minute of use? But just try to get that number from a supplier.

All kinds of Packages are there for everyone!
But the fucking Rip-off servers like Rogers, Bell & Telus are pain in the ass due to their extra-ordinary rates, highest in the world for using cells phones over here in Canada, and our Govt. is still giving them protection from competition, if it a free economy in Canada why they are stopping other cellular companies coming into Canadian Market with better and affordable services is a big question mark???? In certain matters Canada is like China or Russia, which is so unfortunate for its heavily burdened citizens.

I checked a couple out yesterday, there all basically the same it seems, with different perks it seems. I hate cell phones, I guess because I didn't grow up with them and didn't see the need for them, however they're a necessity in business.

Times change and so will I have to. What about virgin mobile?
