I’ve been wondering about something. I know that if you pay long distance charges if you make a call outside of your local calling area. What if you use a long distance phone card?

For example, if you have a 905 cell phone and you make a call in a 519 area to either another 905 number or a 519 number using a long distance card, would you still pay long distance charges from your carrier?

No, it will be local call. I do the same when I need to contact my clients different countries by using my cell phone!

Anywhere there's a Strip Joint
Once you're in a different area code, and you use the local number, then I believe your not actually paying long distance but roaming charges.
