I have had it with the CBC. Why can't they send the news at 10 PM every night?
Where else is the News bumped for sport?
I have taken to watch CTV news instead. At least it is on reliably at 11PM.

Hockey is really the only real source of revenue for the CBC, outside of our tax money...so even for non hockey fans more hockey games = less taxes.
Good point. And therefore by extension, the Leafs should be heavily subsidized in an effort to break this cycle leading to bottom of the heap draft picks. Let's take our game back.

ted9488,
That's easy, just mount the TV onto the ceiling, do the CG, you can then watch TV, play with her tits, & still reach for beer from time to time.

There's material budding here for a Canuck 'How To book'. This deserves its own thread.

Any ideas on a suitable title?

Shut the hell up Mansbridge and go back to doinking Cynthia.

Oh ya, look at the guide and you'll notice The National is on for 3 hours straight on Newsworld dope.

Lost the Olympics and their announcer. Guess they didn't have the Leaf looser fans to pump money into them as they do the Leafs.

Become a Leaf, earn a huge salary, lose and come back next year so the fan-actics can support you again. What a job!

Unless of course the Grammys or other awards show are on, or when they run a 3 hour movie. CTV used to have delayed National News after showing a Jays game that ran late.

Get over it.

The Leafs don't need any subsidies. They need new blood at the top. Management is brain dead if they can't get players who have the drive to win the cup. "Let's give every team, a big lead in points, and then play catch up the last couple of weeks of the season", or "Don't embarass other teams with all our talent, and lose to the weaker teams", or " We don't need defencemen to play the man. We've got a "goalie" to stop the puck from going in the net", or "Let's play TIC TAC TOE when we have a powerplay. We don't need to shoot the puck at the net. Just keep passing it around".

I guess Ballard and Co put a curse on the team, and they can't get out from under it.

And Sundin has worn himself out.

They haven't had a team since Sittler and crew left. Perhaps we need another plane crash.. (joking)

Look..they are beyond hope. I got over it years ago. I still have my hockey cards from the sixties...i just look at them whenever I feel the need to dream.
