The change of seasons is such a beautiful thing. I love the transformation of nature that we're privilege to in Canada. Last week took me home to BC for a visit with family. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see clients this trip and I sure do miss you when I take a week off. If you've never experienced the lush and pristine rainforest that is North Vancouver in April, jump at the opportunity should it arise!

In conversation with an Australian local last month he mentioned wanting to spend winter in northern North America just to experience how people come out of hibernation on the first days of spring. I know their magic always puts a bounce in my step, not to mention that element of playful friskiness I just can't contain!

Tell me you had as magical of a weekend as I did!​

Sunday may very well have been one of the best days of my life. I met a new client for coffee in the morning. We'd been texting over a couple days and I was really looking forward to meeting him, I could tell there was going to be an authentic sense of mutual appreciation. We sat in the park near my incall and as the sun fluttered through half-nude trees we danced in conversation from the personal to the intimate, practical to aspirational. Half the fun was knowing that our first intimate moments were pending just steps away. The morning slid into afternoon. Couples, young families and free-spirits frolicking under the elusive cherry blossoms by Grenadier pond matched the dancing of my soul. Did you know that these Sakura trees were given to citizens of Toronto as a gift from citizens of Tokyo in 1959, for our support of Japanese-Canadian refugees during the WWII?

I spent the afternoon lazing over a picnic with my lover and my best friend, observing the chaos around us, blanketed by a rare sense of tranquillity that couldn't be denied under falling snow blossoms. May moments of chaotic tranquillity prevail through all of our rendezvous.

Enjoyed the magic of Old Montreal last night - one of those places that is inherently romantic, with or without company. I was fortunate enough to be in the amazing company of a favorite lover, enjoying the surprisingly warm breeze on a patio even as night fell. Happy to have woken up to bright blue skies this morning!
