Hey fellow terbites...need some input on whether i should pursue a career in i-banking or equity research. I've got my CA and have started preparing for the CFA. I've realized that there's not enough money in accounting so i'm looking to enter the finance realm. Having said that i wanted to know ppl's thoughts on which is a better route to take (from a long term perspective) - investment banking or equity research/asset management???
Also i've been hearing that hedge fund accountants (back office function) make very good money as well. Is it worth exploring this avenue???
