Car Stereo - Where's a good place to buy one in Toronto

Looking for a good place to buy a car stereo.

Prefer Downtown / west end of Toronto. (I'm not driving out to Whitby.)

I used to go to East Hamilton Radio for most of my stuff, but driving to the Hammer for a radio isn't a worthy idea either.

Looking for an Alpine or Pioneer. I have a Pioneer now, but it's about 11 or 12 years old and obviously not compatable with IPOD technology. (I have a 6 CD CD-changer in the trunk - which is a PAIN IN THE ASS and really should go.)

Need a place with a decent selection and reasonable prices. Checked out Future shop and it was all shit.

you may pay a little more, but the knowledge, quality and expertise can't be beat

Kromer. They will come to your house and do the installation in your driveway. I have had 3 different stereos installed by them, great job each time.

The CD in my car died yesterday.

I like to replace it, but not with an expensive one.
A friend offered my his old CD player.
What do Kromer charge for installation.

Not sure if I want to pay big bucks to install a shitty radio.
Any suggestion for economical installation?

I don't trust anyone to touch either the car or the electrical system.

Go to Audio Illusion. They are in oakville. Only place I trust. And they are phenomenal in the install and very nice people. You will not be disappointed. Upgraded my stereo numerous times from other people, and i only trust them.
