Can't connect to TERB if using a VPN

I just started using a VPN. I noticed that if I am connected to the VPN, TERB won't let me access the forums. Its says that the IP address is not allowed. Just curious what is the reason for this? No big deal as the main reason for the VPN is to use US Netflix,

your IPaddress may have been collateral damage when they did a block of IP addresses
just switch to another til you get on
may need to go thru the security check but it'll work

Its probably your VPN provider was flagged in past
I have a VPN and no issue at all with terb

I went with IPVanish because it was supposedly a top-ranked VPN with the fastest speeds. When my surfing speed slowed down unacceptably, and I couldn't access TERB on it (no matter which country I selected), made me abandon it ever since.

I'd still be open to subscribing to a quality VPN with fast speeds and the ability to surf TERB, if anyone has any strong recommendations. Thanks!

I had similar experience with IPvanish, just try to switch to another address.

Just disable your VPN when browsing Terb. Problem solved.

Kind of silly no? Wouldn't people here want to be anonymous?

Sadly, I think it is due to the fact that some troublesome posters would use these types of VPNs or TOR to hide their IP's. Most times these people create memberships here just to cause trouble, harass and threaten. I would assume it was just easier for TERB to block those types of systems to save the headache. The changes of LE obtaining a court order for IP address vrs the changes of troublesome posters probably made the choice easy.

Agree. We have the same problem on some US boards where banned members, trolls and probably even cops keep coming back with new handles causing trouble and admin does little or nothing because they hide behind a VPN to keep from bring tracked.
